NEWS & UPDATES
SINGAPORE, 29 July 2017 – It has been 3 years since we had our Neoasia Public Forum. This year, we are very fortunate to have 3 speakers addressing the unspoken pressing issues of women. Other than the visible concerns of premature skin aging and hyperpigmentation, we also addressed on the treatment of vaginal atrophy.
Sun and environmental aggressors are the key factors of premature skin aging and hyperpigmentation. We had Prof Goh Chee Leok from National Skin Centre, Singapore and Ms Glynise Peh from Neoasia Singapore to share more in depth on the causes, prevention and available treatments on these concerns. Prof Goh also addresses the usual safety and efficacy concerns of edible oral sunblock in the market. It is important to protect the skin from harmful UV rays and pollution as excessive exposure to these factors would lead to degradation of collagen, saggy and dull looking skin.
We also had Dr Chong from Chris Chong Women’s and Urogynae Centre to address on the topic and available treatments for vaginal atrophy. Despite being a common problem, the conservative society in Singapore may be too shy to get discuss this problem with their doctors and get it treated early.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all speakers and attendees for attending the forum. This forum was made possible due to the continuous support from our customers.
